Human body puts weight when there is excess of fat in the body. Person consuming foods very often and doing less physical work typically suffer from obesity or heavy body weight (overweight). Although obesity is acceptable, overweight seems to be a critical issue as far as the medical world is concerned. Human body stores fat whenever it exceeds the actual amount required by a person’s body. This may result in overweight.
Obesity and Overweight may lead to chronic diseases such as osteoarthritis, heart disease, diabetes, cancer etc. Hence it should be controlled according to a proper treatment or dieting.
To overcome obesity or overweight one has to take control on his food intake. Taking Food in form of snacks should be avoided. Foods rich in fat, meats, ice-creams, ghee, packed food and oily stuffs should also be avoided. Limit the usage of sugar and increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.
Engaging in physical activities like walking, jogging, sporting etc. will definitely help one in losing weight apart from the dieting. Obese person should develop the habit of doing exercises on a daily basis.
Losing weight and reducing obesity will take some time. It is also found that avoiding food consumption in your regular meal times may affect your health. Hence a slow and steady process should be followed for a positive result!
